George-Wilson Inter-School Competition

The Second Edition of the Inter-School Competition organised by the George-Wilson Godman Osasogie Foundation was held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Mount Carmel Secondary School, Ekpoma.

A total of 34 schools from the Edo Central Senatorial District participated in the tough contest for the top position.

At the end, the victors emerged as follows:

First Position: 76.5%
Lumen Christi International High School, Uromi

Second Position: 68.0%
Mount Carmel Secondary School, Ekpoma

Third Position: 65.0%
Ambrose Alli University Secondary School, Ekpoma

Each of the top three schools got a cash prize of N500,000, N350,000 and N150,000 respectively.

Congratulations to Mount Carmel School for successfully hosting the event, clinching the second position and also having the most outstanding student scoring 80% in the science category.
