Carmelite Saints

Throughout history, the Carmelite Order has been blessed with men and women outstanding in zeal for God and the spread of His Word wherever they have found themselves. Now as ever, these saints are wonderful examples of how we can, in this world, dedicate our lives to Christ in living out our vocations in life, be it in religious life or in married or single state. Many of these Carmelite saints died young, having surrendered themselves totally to the will of God, but the example of their lives and their words live on, constantly pointing us toward our Father in heaven.

Some of these have been elevated by Mother Church to the ranks of the Blesseds and Saints. Those remembered by the Order of Carmelites on particular days in the liturgical calendar are given here.
